Ingredients

  • 480 ml (2 cups) water

  • 1 tsp echinacea tea leaves

  • 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (or to taste)

Method

  1. Boil the water in a teapot or saucepan over medium-high heat

  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the echinacea tea leaves and chopped ginger

  3. Cover and let the mixture steep for 12–15 minutes

  4. Strain the tea and divide it evenly between two cups

  5. Add half the lemon juice and honey to each cup

  6. Stir, serve, and enjoy!
