About This Recipe
Chicken wings are not only a great source of protein but also contain tryptophan, an amino acid that boosts serotonin levels, aiding mood, sleep, and anxiety reduction. They’re also rich in vitamins, minerals, and choline, which supports memory, mood, and muscle control.
This chicken recipe transforms underrated chicken wings into a delicious and healthier version of buffalo wings by baking instead of frying, keeping all the flavour with less guilt.

Preheat your oven or air fryer to 200°C/400°F
Line a baking sheet with foil, place a wire rack on top, and spray with non-stick cooking spray
Dry the wings and place them in a medium bowl
Toss with avocado oil, baking powder, and our BB House Barbecue Spice Rub until evenly coated
Arrange the wings on the wire rack in a single layer and bake for 45–50 minutes until crispy and fully cooked. If you use an air fryer, these will cook quicker. Check the manual that came with your product for cook times
While the wings bake, prepare the sauce. In a small pan over medium heat, combine hot sauce or our BB BBQ sauce, butter, and honey
Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring often
Remove from heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar
When the wings are done, transfer them to a clean bowl
Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly
Serve immediately on a platter and enjoy!
